This is an Independently Assessed qualification.Type of Learner: This qualification is aimed at those who inspect lifting equipment in the arboriculture industry. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 require that all lifting equipment is subject to a regular thorough inspection by a competent person.Qualification Overview: Inspecting a range of arboricultural rigging equipment to prove competence in recognising faults and various loads and limits involved with arboricultural rigging equipment. It also covers legislation and terminology.What you need to do: Undertake a written exam and a practical assessment.
